Seoul, KOREA ¶ Jun 27, 2012 (Whowired) -- Ahnlab, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, announced on the 25^th that its security solution Ahnlab V3 IS 8.0 received ‘Advanced’ grade in performance test conducted in May 2012 by the AV-Comparatives, a leading independent security solution test lab in Austria.  

Ahnlab acquired ‘Advanced’ grade for the first time as a local company in Korea. The accomplishment was also meaningful because it was based on original local technology. This test was conducted to check the impact of a vaccine program on PC performances when the program actually runs on PC. Ahnlab’s V3 IS 8.0 acquired ‘Advanced’ after it was tested in six specific categories in the environment of Windows 7 Home Premium 64(SP1).
