
Incheon Technopark and Qingdao National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone signed a MOU to strengthen bilateral cooperation on technology development and market opportunities.
Seoul, KOREA ¶ Jul 17, 2012 (Whowired) -- Incheon Technopark and Qingdao National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone signed a MOU to strengthen bilateral cooperation on technology development and market opportunities at the Meet You All Tower located in Songdo International City on the 13th. Under the MOU, both parties have agreed to join force in R&D in such fields as automobile and biotechnology.
They have also agreed to facilitate information and human exchanges between the two parties as well as to work together on unearthing joint businesses and fostering mutual technology transfer to boost the synergy effect of the cooperation.
Qingdao National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a national strategic hi-tech technology industrial complex. The economic jurisdiction of Qingdao High-Tech Zone is a city level with the size of 167㎢, three times larger than the size of Songdo International City. Over the last four years, a total of U2$ 2 billion has been invested in the zone to develop its infrastructure and related facilities.
Incheon Technopark is a non-profit foundation established and supported by the University of Incheon, Inha University, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Incheon Metropolitan City and Korea Institute of Industrial Technology to support SMS companies and strengthen their competiveness in local and overseas markets.
