Seoul, Korea ¶ July 20, 2012 -- LG U+ will soon publish popular teen cartoon magazines IQ Jump and Wink in iPad app versions in cooperation with the original paper-based magazine publisher Seoul Media Group. The new apps have features that enhance the reading experience such as the 3D page-flipping effect and landscape viewing.

The service will be ad-supported and thus free of charge to the users. LG U+ plans to provide other popular cartoon series on the magazines such as The Kitchen and The Story of Seoul Ninja in separate apps.

Lee Kap-Soo, the manager of LG U+’s media business division, said, “The publication of IQ Jump and Wink will attract many more teenagers to the tablet PC to enjoy viewing cartoons. I am certain this would be the new ad business model for the cartoon industry.”
