Seoul, July 23 (Whowired) -- Fashion City, the social networking game developed by NokNok and serviced by NHN Hangame, has become the most popular free-of-charge app on App Store within only three days of launch on July 17. Until now, the category had been dominated by games featuring animals and farms but Fashion City is getting rave reviews for its novelty.
Chae Yura, head of NHN Hangame’s smartphone game business division, said, “Fashion City seems to be well received by gamers because it has everything a game needs to have, including social networking features and a wealth of content.”
“Unlike any other social networking games, it is based on the concept of fashion shop management which gives the users a new type of fun. We will keep the users engaged by continuous update,” she added. The companies will soon introduce an Android version within the month of August.
