
The strong alliance forged between the leading portal service provider and webtoonists enriches the web based contents.
Seoul, Aug 10 (Whowired)--Naver Appisode—Naver’s new ad campaign for its mobile application—is presented by up and coming webtoonists. Since its launch in 2005, Naver has been dedicated to nurturing web cartoonists and promoting the cartoon contents industry. Its strong partnership with young webtoonists presented a model that could bring the current platform to the next level.
The popular webtoonists participated in the planning and production process offering the opportunity for Naver and the contents providers to grow together. Jilpung episode (roughly translated as Whirlwind Communications) by Lee Hyun-min (pseudonym: broken life) will be aired from the 11th revealing the satirical anecdotes at a typical advertisement companies, followed by Naver App Knowledge iN episode by Cho Seok.
Naver runs a separate ad campaign website (http://campaign.naver.com/naverappisode). Thirteen webtoonists will post their own different versions of “Relay Webtoons” about Naver Apps every week.
