Youths from 23 Asian Nations Learn Korean Language and Culture

Sponsored jointly by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea, the event will last for 15 days from August 6 to 20 in Seoul and Jeju Island.

Seoul, Aug 15 (Whowired) -- In celebration of the 67th Liberation Day on August 15, as many as 200 youths from 23 Asian nations were invited to Korea to learn the language and culture.

Sponsored jointly by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea, the event will last for 15 days from August 6 to 20 in Seoul and Jeju Island.

The program began in 2008 in order to enhance mutual understanding among Asian youths between ages 18 and 24. The invitees were selected by Asia-based Korean embassies through rigorous competition.
