Seoul, KOREA ¶ Apr 05, 2012 (Whowired) -- NHN, the company running one of Korea’s major portal engines, announced on April 4 that it would offer a new service Multiple Live Sportscasting. The service will allow the user to view up to four sports games at the same time in four quadrants of a computer screen or in a picture-in-picture format.
The service shows a list of sporting programming currently available, such as professional baseball, basketball, soccer, handball, or international soccer games, on the upper-right corner of the screen so that the user can watch all the games without missing a scene.
Since 2004 Naver had pioneered in providing a variety of sportscasting services on baseball and basketball games, the first among Internet portals.
