Samsung Electronics turns to its TV application to give momentum to its recently held charity event for the visually impaired kids. Samsung announced it would launch Smart TV app named "Insight Exhibition" on which major photo artworks created by Hanbit School for the Visually Impaired in Korea are to be displayed. Moreover, the app tells you behind the story regarding the history of each photo work, allowing you to encounter such experience as if you went to the exhibition firsthand.
Samsung sponsored in March a photo exhibition “Insight” for the vision impaired. As part of its “How to Share Smart” campaign, Samsung held the photo show, where a hundred of pictures taken by the blind students at Hanbit School for the Visually Impaired, were on display and drew a great deal of responses from the audience. The pictures taken by the kids can be “seen” -- so said the host -- through three additional senses, namely touch, hearing, and seeing through inner eyes.
Deeply moved by sincere passion from the artists, Samsung wanted to bring the cherished moment being long-lasting-- by expanding chances for anyone to appreciate it tapping ever-widening digital platform. That's how Samsung came up with a new TV app which allows you to experience such touching moment with a click of a Mouse.
To make donating to charity easier, Samsung is also going to open "donation dedicated page” within the application starting on early May where you can give helping hands to the visually challenged artists kids by using mobile payment system. Samsung expects its "smart charity" move like this to open a new chapter in charity culture in the nation while cementing its image as a leader in entertaining and smart marketing through its flagship "How to Live Smart Campaign".
