Seoul, Korea ¶ May 09, 2012 - SK Communications said on May 9 that its camera app for portraits ‘Cymera’ has hit 3 million downloads. Cymera, which was released on Mar 23, reached one million downloads only in 15 days and has tripled the number only in 9 weeks.
It is getting hot globally, too. More than 900,000 global users have downloaded the app which is now particularly popular in Thailand and Taiwan. It is currently available in Korean, Japanese and English. There are a series of good overseas reviews of it as well. Appolicious, a US mobile apps marketplace, rated Cymera as 5 out of 5, praising that it “delivers pro photography features to amateur”.
Riding on its rising global popularity, Cymera will have additional features such as automatic wire/wireless sync and integrated photo management system, face recognition and a variety of cosmetic face surgery and makeup techniques.
