Seoul, KOREA ¶ May 16, 2012 -- Korea’s mobile telecom service provider LG U+ announced on May 15 that it has launched “CosmoStyle 2.0,” a fashion social networking service, in partnership with the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan and hire style app-loggers who will do the job of networking in the area of young generation fashion.
CosmoStyle 2.0 has adopted a highly sophisticated design fitting for fashion-conscious users while applying the fast, easy-to-navigate user interface. In efforts to strengthen the social networking link feature, it allows users to connect to other major sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and CacaoTalk. It will also deliver fashion-related contents such as photos and celebrity news direct from Cosmopolitan editors.
In addition to the networking service, LG U+ will recruit and support style app-loggers (app + bloggers) who will spread the word to fellow trendsetters. The app-loggers will be selected from the pool of users who are registered members of CosmoStyle. They will be given priority when sending out invitations to Cosmopolitan brand events and launching parties.
To commemorate the launch of the new service, LG U+ and the Cosmopolitan magazine will hold a promotional event where the two companies give away latest LTE phone devices and cosmetics for users who upload photos on the app.
The CosmoStyle 2.0 app is available for download on U+ App Market, Android Market, and Apple AppStore free of charge.
