Seoul, July 28 (Whowired) -- CJ Foodville, a CJ Corporation affiliate providing food and dining services through its chain of family restaurants, said on July 30 that it would begin a corporate social responsibility program “Chef’s Table” to give internship opportunities to the youths from low-income families dreaming of becoming a chef.
The program will consist of meetings with world-famous chefs, professional training sessions, on-the-job internship opportunities, and scholarships to help them continue with their studies. This is a new CSR model in that the company supports the beneficiaries every step of the way from the beginning to the end.
To that end, CJ Donors Camp, the group’s foundation for social contribution, and the Olive Channel, a cooking channel owned and operated by CJ Entertainment & Media, as well as CJ Foodville, have joined forces to help the youngsters with aspirations.
