SEOUL, Aug 08 (Whowired) -- A contest on “Gangnam Style” user-generated contents is all the rage on the Nate Pann, the anonymous bulletin board service. Within only two weeks after kickoff, the competition to upload home-made videos parodying the popular singer Psy’s new song “Gangnam Style” has attracted more than 90 contestants.

The videos whose titles come from town names of all over the country make Internet users entertained. Of late, some videos take their names from the group of people who produced them or where they were made, such as “Ajumma (old married women) Style” and “Dorm Room Style.” 

The contest will end on August 9 when the winners will be announced. The first-prize winner will get two package tour tickets to the Island of Saipan. The five second-prize winners will receive free tickets to the Psy concert on August 11 and an opportunity to take photos with him.

Kim Kil-nam, Nate Pann’s video service manager, said, “While planning for the event, we haven’t expected this explosive response from the users. We will try to develop good, fun-filled events like this where our members can express themselves without inhibition.”
