Seoul, Aug 17 (Whowired) -- Kia Motors Company said it would invite participants to a camping event from August 17 to September 16. This promotional event was prepared in celebration of Kia Motors winning the 2012 Automotive Performance Execution and Layout survey by JD Power for its K5 and Soul models.

The free camping event can be entered by any working person who owns a Kia car. The applicant must enter with a short story on why she wants to camp out, the camping dates of her choice, and the number of campers (4 to 8 persons).

The company will select a total of 100 groups and permit them to stay in automobile campsites in North Choongchung and Gangwon provinces until October 14.

A Kia Motors official said, "We came up with the auto camp idea to give a chance to hardworking salaried workers to relax and make up for lost summer vacation."
