Seoul, Korea ¶ Samsung is set to show a future of humanity at the Expo 2012 Yeosu. For three months from May 12 to August 12, Samsung will open its own separate three-story pavilion of 2,660 square meters.
The Samsung Pavilion, prominent from afar because of its unusual boat-shaped design, will feature the theme of “Living Creatively, Imagining Together,” with Samsung’s role as the mediator of the humanity’s mutually beneficial relationship with the sea.
In line with the expo’s main theme “Living Ocean, Breathing Coast,” Samsung will deliver a consistent message that we are all in this together in the age of environmental disaster. Through the stage shows with the three themes of light, wind, and water, Samsung will make the audience entertained.
The Samsung Pavilion is created jointly by Samsung Electronics, Samsung Heavy Industries, and Samsung SDI, each company representing light, wind, and water, respectively. Starting May 12, the pavilion will put on as many as 15 shows a day with many other events to be held during the whole length of expo opening time.
