reality at the Connected House in MWC 2012.

Feb that it showcases its cutting edgy and innovative IT technologies at the GSMA’s Connected
House in MWC 2012. The Connected House is a living future environment where every device
and contents are based on intelligent wireless connections for a maximized
smart life.
In the Connected House, KT presents 13 smart products/technologies including Kibot 2, Spider Phone,
olleh Work Space and olleh My Wallet under the three themes of Home, Office and
Street.
Kibot2 is a smart education robot for children: The robot teaches children to read, sing and speak in different languages. Kibot2 also features customized Smart Home services for infants and elementary school students to learn with fun at home.
Spider Phone is a new concept smartphone with greater extensibility and connectivity to other devices. KT also opened core interface sources of the Spider Phone so that manufacturers can produce various devices with connectivity to the phone.
olleh WorkSpace is a smart office
solution based on web cloud system that workers at office can share text,
voices and other multimedia contents regardless of time and space.
And its WAC 2.0 based app ‘Wing of Victory’ is selected as the official premium WAC app and is on display at the Connected House, featuring its N-Screen and multi-platform payments functions. WAC(Wholesale Application Community) is a global application market which was world-first commercialized by KT.
Besides, visitors at the Connected House can enjoy KT’s olleh WiFi and other events based on its augmented reality technology.
Pyo Hyun-myung, President of KT’s Personal Customer’s Group, said “all the products and technologies KT presents at the Connected House is not just a ‘future’ but a 'reality' something already introduced, or is planned to be introduced this year in Korea.”, adding “From this year, KT will actively advance into the global market with top network infrastructure and smart technologies in partnership with competitive SMS companies."
