Seoul, KOREA ¶ Dec 20, 2011 (Whowired) -- Bodyguard, the flagship underwear brand of the company Goodpeople, showed off its savviness by holding on December 16 a promotion with four Avant-garde artists in Hongdae area in Seoul. The exhibition will be open until the 20th.
In its Bodyguard location in Hongdae, the company invited four artists, including Eunmee, the young illustrator working mostly on fabrics, Yangbangim Project, the “commercial artist” using the tree as the main motif, Sea Jewel, the one attempting to read the passage of time through the use of sea glass, and Nur (meaning lake in Mongolian), the artist focusing on fabric quilt as the medium of art.
Park Myung-Hwan, the manager of Goodpeople who organized the event, said, “Through this collaboration project we wanted to deliver a message that our Bodyguard brand is more than underwear items and that it can mesh effortlessly with art and culture.”
