Seoul, KOREA ¶ Dec 12, 2011 (Whowired) -- LG Electronics (CEO Koo Bon-joon, www.lge.co.kr), one of the world’s leading electronics makers, has received great reviews in Europe, demonstrating its global competitiveness in the audio- visual sector.
What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision, a prestigious home entertainment magazine, recently gave a five-star rating to LG’s 3D home cinema system (model name: HX976TZW). Notably, its product was added to the list of ‘Award 2011’ as the best cinema system £500+.
Rad & Ron, a leading consumer magazine in Sweden, also chose two LG products (HX46R and HLX56S) as the first and second winners in the category of 2.1-inch home theater systems, recognizing their exceptional sound quality.
Two other LG products (HX751 and HX 721) also ranked first respectively in 5.1 channel and 2.1 channel cinema systems in the December issue of Consumentengids, a consumer review magazine in the Netherlands.
In the September edition of LYD & BILDE, a home electronics magazine in Norway, LG’s HX906SB beat the other four home cinema systems tested. It scored six stars, followed by Pioneer (five stars), Panasonic (four stars), Phillips (four stars) and Sony (three stars).

According to the December issue of Que Choisir, published by the French consumer association UFC, LG’s BD660 ranked first among 20 blue ray players made by eight companies.
Shin Tae-gi, head of the LG media research center, said that such high recognition from prestigious review magazines clearly shows our competitive edge in the global AV market, adding “LG will continue to release top quality products that suit consumer needs and to take the lead in the European AV market.”
