Asiana and National Gugak Center strike deals to promote Korean traditional music
Seoul, Korea ¶ June 27, 2012-- Asiana, the second largest flag carrier in Korea, is partnering with the National Gugak Center to publicize Korean traditional music after signing MOU for the globalization of Korean traditional music or Gugak on June 26th.
As a starter, Asiana Airlines will provide more opportunities for children and foreigners to learn more about Korean traditional music. The promotional programs will further evolve into more diverse activities to distribute audio-visual contents of Korean traditional music and stage performances in and out of the country.
Asiana Airlines will also offer hefty discounts on airfares for staff and musicians from National Gugak Center and take extra care of their musical instruments and other shock-sensitive air freights.
