
At Hyundai Eco-Camp, kids will have fun and busy making memories with the family while parents are competing at the Eco-Drive contest for higher fuel efficiency.
Seoul, Korea ¶ June 29, 2012--Hyundai opens 2012 Summer Eco-Camp starting from Aug 4th to the 14th in Northern part of Chungcheongdo area and Yeongwol in Gangwondo. All the Hyundai drivers are qualified to apply for the event at www.hyundai.com from June 28th to July 20th. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on July 23rd.
On the first day of orientation, Hyundai will offer free car checkup and parts replacement, and introductory sessions to give environment conscious families greater understanding of hybrid cars.
About 100 families of four or 400 people will be divided into 5 groups to participate in the 2 night 3 day program from the 28th.
Hyundai Eco-Camp provides families with resort condominiums during the Eco-Camp, offering a variety of programs including banana pepper and cabbage picking, potato plucking, seeds planting, and also recycling and salvaging craft classes at Yemil Grape Village in Yeongwol area.
Also, families will be entering the Eco-Driver Competition with Sonata Hybrid cars and those who reach the highest fuel efficiency level will be the winners.
A marketing staff at Hyundai Motors said, “The Eco-Camp is expected to raise environmental awareness and to draw the attention of the customers to spend their quality time with family.”
