Seoul, KOREA ¶ May 02, 2012 -- Samsung Electronics kicked off the “I Love Poland” campaign in Poland’s major cities including Warsaw’s National Stadium where the Euro 2012 football games will be held. The campaign consists of an event making the giant Polish national flag with pieces of personal notes about why I love Poland, and others that anyone can join in through social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter.

Samsung organized the campaign, to be held simultaneously in the cities of Wrocław, Poznań, and Kraków, as well as in Warsaw, in hopes of supporting the Polish national football team and the fans. In addition, the company will distribute free T-shirts with the Polish flag on it while sponsoring video messages of celebrities to be uploaded on YouTube.

Samsung will complement the campaign with the sporting news updates on its Smart TV application, as well as with the Smart TV sets installed in major shopping venues across the country. The Polish TV market is forecast to rise more than 20 percent this year, led mainly by the flat-panel and LED TVs.
