韩国电信KT在首尔和首都圈等全国1100余条线路的大巴中构建了比3G快三倍的‘移动Wi-Fi’网络

韩国电信正用LTE WARP和3W全网络打造一个‘移动的完美乐园’，为了让KT的智能手机用户在巴士上也可以轻松的享受到无线网络的服务，公司于本月12日宣布，到这个月月底在包括首尔和首都圈在内的全国1100余条线路的大巴上构筑‘移动Wi-Fi’网络的工程正在进行中。
移动Wi-Fi通过Public Egg将4G Wibro变换成Wi-Fi信号，从而为用户提供高于3G网络3倍的高速服务。
KT继在首尔、首都圈和釜山的地铁中安置移动Wi-Fi以后，此次又着手在全国的巴士上构建了该网络，此举让以长途大巴为交通手段而上、下班和上、放学的KT LET手机以及智能手机用户可以通过移动Wi-Fi不再受数据传输的限制，免费享受到更快速的无线网络服务。
从2010年开始到去年为止，KT在包括韩国机场大巴在内的首尔、首都圈以及全国的500余条线路的大巴上都构建了移动Wi-Fi网络，从今年开始计划到4月底之内，另外在京畿道、蔚山、昌原和浦项等城市的600余条线路的大巴上也构筑该网络，构筑的工程已在进行中。另外，公司将与各地方自治团体及运输公司等进行协商，预计将把该移动Wi-Fi网络的构建工程持续的扩大化。
KT无线网络总部本部长表示，“应用了4G Wibro技术而构建的移动Wi-Fi网络让用户在路途中依然可以便捷的使用到无线网络，今后KT还将继续通过LTE WARP和3W全网络为用户提供进一步强化了的便捷服务。” <Whowired>
