Samsung Galaxy Phone Series Sold over 50 Million Units

Samsung Electronics announced on June 1^st that the sales volume of its flagship smart phone Galaxy S and S2 reached 24 million and 28 million units respectively with the accumulated sales volume of over 50 million, which is more than two times of the entire domestic smart phone market. Since its launch in June 2010, Galaxy S led the pack in unit sales as a steady seller with the sales volume of 24 million units in just two years. The success of global hit item is led to the growth of domestic app developers registered at global Samsung Apps. Samsung has been operating app development center OCEAN from 2010, offering education courses from app development to networking for free of charge. (Whowired Staff)
