The female marketers will be engaged in team projects (3 projects in 4-person groups) until December to suggest ideas related to promotion and services while participating in high-visibility events such as Yeosu Expo and the Busan International Film Festival.


Seoul, KOREA Jun 19, 2012 (Whowired) -- Kia Motors Company said on June 17 that it would begin accepting applications for female marketers until July 2. The marketer position can be applied by any trendy woman who is interested in cars. The application can be made through Kia’s official Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/kia.co.kr). Kia will then announce a list of applicants for interviews. The 12 finalists will be selected after a round of intensive interviews.

The company will provide monthly stipends to the marketers and select a winning group in the idea contest for cash awards.

A Kia official said, “As the number of women motorists increases, we are actively catering to the needs of female auto buyers. The latest recruitment of female marketers is also as part of this awareness. We will reflect ideas gleaned from the marketers’ activities into actual marketing strategies.”
