Seoul, July 26 (Whowired) -- Hyundai Elevator’s high-speed elevator with a velocity of 1,080 meters per minute has been featured in a special report “Fastest on Earth” in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Spectrum’s radio program.
The special report (http://spectrum.ieee.org/static/the-fastest-on-earth) was created after one year of production time featuring elevator, sailboat, train, jet fighter, helicopter, bike, and car in the speed machines category. In the naturally fast category, swimming animal, land animal, natural flier, and human were mentioned.
To film the site, the IEEE production crew visited Hyundai’s Asan Tower in June and had an interview with the company’s R&D Center head Park Young-ki for the report. The program will be aired on radio stations throughout the United States and is also available on IEEE Spectrum’s podcast.
