Seoul, KOREA ¶ Mar 5, 2012 (Whowired) -- Pohang city looks to advance its flagship international festival into a world-renowned premium event by questioning what will be the most impressive slogan promoting the event. Pohang Committee of Festival (PCF) plans to stage an open contest to come up with the best-fitting slogan for the locally popular Pohang Fire Light Festival, an annual event featuring light and fire held in Pohang, a city in southeastern Korea.  

The committee said the slogan should highlight the meaning and identity of the event: fire and light and be resonating with anyone to hear it. The festival has garnered favorable responses as it has ranked No 3 in the list of "Popular Travel Destinations" at a tour expo held in Seoul of late and was chosen as one of the best festival events in Korea where only 45 attractions were picked out of 1,200 tour sites in Korea, driven by its successful operation of the event.
