[COSTA MESA, Calif.=Whowired] July 11, 2012-- The Star Wars™ themed Course of the Force charity relay completed its journey to San Diego today. Hyundai, the official vehicle of the relay, joined Lucasfilm Ltd., Nerdist Industries and Octagon to complete an Olympic-style lightsaber relay where participants journeyed from Santa Monica to San Diego, leading up to Comic-Con International while benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
The relay started on July 7 at the Santa Monica Pier and concluded today at Balboa Theatre in San Diego. Participants running the route handed off the official Course of the Force lightsaber to the next runner every quarter-mile.
