LG U+ could offer the virtual call center service at a significantly lower cost because, unlike any other service providers that rely on external vendors for solutions and equipment, the company had worked on developing call center solutions in house including the PBX (private branch exchange), CTI (computer telephony integration), as well as the IVR.
Seoul, KOREA ¶ May 18, 2012 -- LG U+ will soon release a new service called the “Cloud Call Center,” the virtual call center that can be used without the need for expensive servers and system maintenance staff. Unlike the conventional call centers, the Cloud Call Center can be rented to corporate clients at more than a 50-percent discount, depending on the number of customer service operators and other additional features.
The client can start using the service at the monthly cost of 40,000 won ($34), with the basic features such as call distribution, electronic signboard, and service statistics included. At the monthly subscription fee of 90,000, the client can use all the available optional features including the IVR (interactive voice response), call recording, and other counseling applications.
