Optimus Vu, LG's answer to its rival Samsung's smash-hit Galaxy Note, garnered favorable reviews in Germany, the largest smartphone market in Europe, giving the Korean electronics big boost to push its recently twisted smartphone strategies in the international markets.
LG's 5-inch smartphone got the full score (5-grades) by Connect, the technology magazine based in Germany. The magazine favorably evaluated the phone by claiming it should be the best optimized mobile device for e-book reading and web-surfing thank to its bigger screen size as well as dimensions which are 139 mm by 90 mm wide.
The fact that Optimus Vu is LTE-specific phone allows the company to pin much higher hope on its marketing in Europe: major European markets including Germany, UK and France are scheduled to introduce LTE commercial services in turn. So LG's "smart" LTE phone which received a green light in Germany is likely to get the upper hand in the increasingly intensified LTE smartphone markets in the world.
