LG U+ will begin a new commercial message campaign focusing on the LTE multiparty video calling feature available only on its mobile network. The first commercial is themed with grown-up children sending Happy-Birthday messages to their mother on a multiparty video call with everybody on the screen.

A daughter saying a Happy Birthday with her child, a son who is still at work and appears in his office, and another daughter almost tearful while saying the message make the viewer wonder why all children have different skin colors. An old benign-looking Catholic sister then appears and responds to the children’s messages with “Thank you, my babies.” She is the caretaker of an orphanage that was home to all the children who have become productive members of the society.

The latest commercial series is different from other TV commercials in that it was released first on the CacaoTalk service, the mobile phone video messaging service.
