Seoul, KOREA ¶ Dec 30, 2011 (Whowired) -- Ssangyong Motor Company (CEO: Lee, Yoo-il; www.smotor.com) said on the 29th that it would take part in the 11th Auto Expo scheduled for coming January, together with Mahindra and Mahindra, Ltd.

This is the first time for the automaker to participate in the Auto Expo to be held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. The motor show will be open from January 5th (press day) to January 11th. The exhibitions will be available to general audience beginning from the 7th.

Ssangyong Motor Company will be showcasing two concept cars such as ‘XIV-1 (Exciting User Interface Vehicle),’ whose innovative design and interface attracted plenty of attention at the motor show in Frankfurt, and Korando-based electric car ‘Korando E,’ which was introduced under the name of ‘KEV2’ at the Seoul Motor Show. Its mass-produced vehicles like ‘Rexton’ and ‘Korando Sports’ will also be on display.
